The girls won their first ever Regional Championship today at Burke Lake. They won 75-83 over Oakton with a strong pack of runners, getting 6 runners in before any team got 5 in (and before 8 teams got 3 in)

Elizabeth Wu was 5th in 18:21, Elaina Sprague was 13th in 18:53, Rachel Shoemaker was 16th in 19:05, Sarah Hetherington was 20th in 19:15, Alex Oskuie was 23rd in 19:25,  Anna Miller was 24th in 19:30.

The Boys tied with Oakton 88-88 and lost the 6th place tie-breaker to earn 2nd place in the region.

Chamberlain Zulauf was 2nd in 15:45, Kevin Murphy was 4th in 15:46, Zack Holden was 6th in 15:49 to lead the team.  Billy Eggers was 25th in 16:26 and Will Hetherington was 56th in 17:32.
